Dear Lucky

Dear Lucky,

I feel like a lot of the events that I had been awaiting this school year have already passed.
Now I’m not so sure what Feehan activities to look forward to. Do you have any advice?

Sincerely, Sullen Student

Dear Sullen Student,

I definitely know what you’re saying. With Homecoming and Catholic Schools Weeks,
football and basketball games, and most of our dances back in the Fall and early Winter, it can be hard to know what to look forward to during the Spring on Holcott Drive. But let me tell you, the campus will be as alive as ever as the weather begins to get nicer.

This upcoming weekend, 3/24, 3/25, and 3/26, our theater department is performing Urinetown: The Musical which could be a great way to spend a night out with your friends while hearing some great music and supporting your classmates (buy tickets here) .

Also, the Spring sports season is kicking off this week, meaning there will be lots of games for you to check out. Though Spring sports may not have the iconic draw of Friday Night Lights during football season, baseball games or tennis matches might introduce you to something new, and are sure to keep you on the edge of your seat (find more about spring sports here). You should also make sure to check out a match of our Girls’ Golf Team in their first season!

Lastly, but certainly not least, every student has one more big dance to look forward to this school year. With the Semi-Formal for the underclassmen and Prom for the upperclassmen, there is plenty of getting dressed up and dancing to do in the coming months (buy tickets here). Plus, after these dances, Summer is right around the corner, and who doesn’t love looking forward to that? Well, I hope some of these ideas have sparked your interest and gotten you excited for the last three months of the school year.

As always, thanks for writing! Lucky  ☘️
