This year’s Science Fair took place on January 10, 2024. Nearly one hundred freshmen and sophomores gathered in the cafeteria to present their projects in an impressive display of creativity and innovation. These projects covered a wide range of topics, ranging from AI detection to food additives in plant growth. A panel of judges consisting of alumni, Feehan faculty, and others spent time evaluating each project, and a handful of students were recognized with awards at the end of the night.
From the freshman class, Anita Camp, Rita Kanury, Ben Davis, Clare McFaul, and Olivia Abren received honorable mentions. William Sheehan received third place, Ansley Palermo received second place, and Calvin Giles won first place. The Best of Fair Award went to freshman Rowan Poluvatzick for his project titled, “Angle of Meteorites on Shape of Crater.”
From the sophomore class, Cassandra White, Brooke Kosar, Moira Cosgrove, Max Comey, Catarina Carvalho, and Myles Flores received honorable mentions. Alexander Ciuica received third place, Sydney Merhige received second place, and Alexander Bove was awarded first place.
