You are invited to help end clothing insecurity in our communities by donating to Project 351’s Spring Service Clothing drive! From March 30th – April 10th, new or gently used clothing can be donated to the bin in Campus Ministry or brought to Holy Cross Parish, 225 Purchase St. South Easton MA. With no holes, tears or stains, quality clothing gives children all across the state the dignity they deserve. Project 351 is a service and leadership organization for young change makers selected from each of the 351 towns from across the state. Since 2011, Project 351 has impacted more than 230,000 lives by partnering with Cradles to Crayons during spring clothing drives, and more than 1.5 million people in Massachusetts through kindness, compassion, humility and gratitude.
While all sizes and styles of clothing are accepted and appreciated, there is an emphasis on infant clothing this year due to the age groups’ increased need. I chose this group to support because everyone deserves quality clothes, and dignity granted, no matter how big or small! I was given the opportunity to be a part of Project 351 as an eighth grader, and have learned so much about our community and service, while gaining all the leadership skills and confidence to put myself and my ideas out there. It is important to remember that anything you can do helps somebody. Whether donating a lot or a little, or helping a whole town or giving just one person a reason to smile, you can make a difference in somebody’s life.
