Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week

Abigail Violett

Beginning in 1974, Catholic Schools Week is a tradition that celebrates the faculty, staff, and students who attend catholic schools all across the country. This year’s celebration will focus on three themes that may sound familiar: service, excellence, and faith. These three themes are seen in Catholic schools throughout the United States and at Feehan especially. After all, Feehan’s core values of excellence, spirituality, and stewardship directly correspond to the Catholic Schools Week themes. Feehan’s culture also embodies service, faith, and excellence through various service opportunities, academic clubs, and monthly masses. For anyone that hasn’t experienced Catholic Schools Week at Feehan before, here’s an itinerary of what to expect. We usually begin every Catholic Schools Week with a celebration of the Mass. As the week progresses, we have events such as Feehan’s Got Talent, TAG days, and the Winter Rally. Throughout the week, we celebrate the value of a Catholic education and the importance of faith within our community. It is up to you to discover what Catholic Schools Week means to you.
