Mini College Fairs in the Rock

Elizabeth Borah

After a wild year of Covid last year, Bishop Feehan was excited to welcome back so many different events previously lost. Among these was the college fair. Due to restrictions, the guidance department decided to host three mini fairs rather than one big one. With about thirty colleges at each fair, ranging from Providence College to Chaminade University of Honolulu, the fairs did not disappoint.

On September 15, September 22, and September 29, representatives from each college set up a booth in the Rock for any seniors or juniors interested. The representatives offered pamphlets, business cards, and lots of advice to help the upperclassman navigate the tricky world of college searches. According to many students, the fair was a massive success, allowing the soon-to-be college students insight into what they might want to study and where they will study it. Now, with the first admissions deadline right around the corner, the seniors are better informed to apply to the schools that they believe will allow them to prosper.
