This past September, the performing arts department announced their plans for this year to put on the following shows: the fall play Peter and the Starcatcher and the spring musical Shrek the Musical!.
Coming this fall is Peter and the Starcatcher, a riveting take about the origin story of Peter Pan in addition to the introductions of numerous well known characters and new adventures. Unlike other plays this one has a musical element as well. Fans of history, disney, music and more should come to see this play on December 7th at 7 pm, the 8th at 7:30 pm, and the 9th at 7 pm. If you’ve watched the movie Shrek, its musical counterpart is very similar but features a spin on the plot and adds more fairytale characters to the mix. If you aren’t familiar with the plot, come join us and see the show in April. Dates will be announced at the beginning of the new year.
