What are Feehan Students Thankful for?

Abigail Violett

Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful and, as the name suggests, give thanks for all we have received. These past few weeks I interviewed Feehan students to find out what or who they were thankful for. The response I received most commonly was that students were thankful for their family and friends. I think that the family many people referred to was not just their immediate family, but the family that they have found in neighborhoods, faith communities, schools and sports teams. Students said they were thankful that these families have supported them through the past year. These feelings of gratitude and joy are feelings that I believe the whole student body can relate to. Gratitude to be back with the people that make our days brighter. Joy to see the large crowds of students at school events. This Thanksgiving spend time with the people who make your life brighter. Even though so much has changed, there is still so much to be thankful for.
