Dear Lucky,
I’m a senior and I can’t believe March is almost over! Time has just flown by since school started last fall. I’m worried that I haven’t been properly enjoying my final year of high school. How can I make the most out of my last couple of months at Feehan?
Sincerely,
Second-Semester Senior
Dear Second-Semester Senior,
Congratulations on making it this far in your high school career! Senior year tends to fly by for many students, largely due to their busy schedules and the excitement of graduating and preparing for the future. It is important, however, to remember to take the time to enjoy these moments as much as possible. Here are some ways you can make the most out of the rest of your time here at Feehan:
- Attend School Events. The best way for seniors to take advantage of all Feehan has to offer is by going to events such as sports games, Prom, and Senior Cruise at the end of the year. These events give seniors the opportunity to make lasting memories and have some fun before graduating.
- Spend Time with Friends. The end of senior year might be the last time you see many of your friends regularly. Be sure to make plans to spend time with them outside of school while doing activities that you enjoy, whether that be watching movies, going out to eat, shopping, etc.
- Document Your Memories. Don’t forget to capture some memories of experiences you wish to remember so you can look back on them in the future. This might involve taking photos of people & places, recording videos, or making a scrapbook/other similar craft.
- Enjoy Every Moment. You only experience high school once! Appreciate the little things- your daily routine at school, your favorite teachers and classes, and the feeling of being a senior. And of course, enjoy graduation and celebrate all of your accomplishments.
I hope this list helps you to make the most out of your final months at Feehan! At the end of the day, being a senior is both exciting and bittersweet, and it can be difficult to fully enjoy the time you have left when the days seem to fly by faster than you’ve ever experienced before. So, focus on doing the things that make you happy, creating great memories, and living in the moment. Good luck with the rest of your senior year!
Sincerely,
Lucky
