On March 26, Bishop Feehan hosted its annual Setting Our Hearts Gala at Gillette Stadium. Two inspiring women received the Sr. Pat Harrington Hero of Catholic Education Award: Sr. Martha Mulligan and Mrs. Denise Peixoto. Sr. Martha was a principle for 12 years at St. John the Evangelist School and for 25 years at Mercymount Country Day School. Mrs. Peixoto was a principal at St. Mary-Sacred Heart School and is now the assistant superintendent for the Diocese of Fall River. Both of these women exemplify the compassion, faith, and wisdom that Feehan tries to instill in its students. The Gala also consisted of Cocktails, dinner, a raffle, an auction, and dancing. Feehan students helped direct guests, spotted at the live auction, and even performed a song from the upcoming musical, Godspell! It is a wonderful celebration of everything it means to be the Feehan Family, get together as a community, connect with friends, and meet new people.
